Kaizen
Hen that lays the Golden Egg |
By Arther Joseph
Walt Disney’s favorite words that helped coin “imagineering.”
were:
“If you can imagine it, you can engineer it.” |
Kaizen is one of the most powerful improvement methodologies and has been
successfully used by the leading organisation s
as an improvement vehicle.Kaizen is a means of continuing improvement in personal life, home life, social life, and working life. |
“What does a champion’s voice sound like?” A champion’s speaking voice doesn’t sound different than anyone else’s, because speech is habit. When we communicate we are “just being ourselves,” But the inner Ioice of the champion, however, is fundamentally different. That Voice embodies a belief system and a dedication that commits the champion to fulfilling his or her highest ideals. To integrate the inner Voice through the outer voice is what we all need to do. |

This module has a practical orientation and helps the participants understand the correct direction to take in their improvement journey. on attending this programme, the participants will develop an understanding of the Kaizen as a personal development tool. They would also realise the perpetual benefits that accrue to the organisation by structured implementation of Kaizen movement. |
Solar Mosquito Destroyer
The solar mosquito destroyer offers a cost-effective and environment-friendly solution to destroy mosquitoes. It works simple as it attract the flies from a drainage/septic tank and trap them into the translucent top (solar furnace) where they perish in the heat of the sun. Mosquitoes have low heat resistance capacity and hence they get killed. The innovation is totally based on solar energy which is used to kill mosquitoes, attracted by sewage gas, by heating them. This makes the system very eco friendly. The Indian Patent has been granted for the Innovation. The Device is made up of polymer rectangular box, transparent solar furnace, conical tube, and gas inlet tube (PVC), fine mesh, control valve, gas exhaust tube. As an attachment to Drainage Tank or Septic Tank. The device is very effective to work in any type of climatic conditions. It destroys a large number of adult mosquitoes that have up to 300 eggs in their ovary. No such product is available in the market which uses solar energy for killing mosquito. |

By PATRICK BARTA and KRISHNA POKHAREL Known for its baroque monuments and lush gardens, Lucknow could face the same fate as Mumbai and Kolkata, which became synonymous with poverty and decay in the 1970s and 1980s.This capital of the northern state of Uttar Pradesh was once an orderly place known for its baroque monuments and lush gardens. Today, Lucknow has more than 780 slums, overflowing sewage pipes and streets choked by gridlock. Its population of 2.7 million, nearly triple the number in the 1980s, is adding as many as 150,000 new residents a year. |
